NBA and Basketball

 

Hello and welcome back to my blog, Mabey you have heard about the 2020 all-star weekend or you have seen some videos on the dunk contest, three-point contest, or you have seen all of them. At this point, we know that the USA team won. The players that I will are Zion Williamson, Trae Young, RJ Barrett, and Luka Doncic. 

 

Over a year ago Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett went to duck and played as teammates. Then they got drafted for the NBA and Zion was the first overall pick, and RJ Barrett was the 3rd overall pick. However for the USA Vs. the World game they had to play against each other because RJ Barrett was born in Canada.

           

 

Over two years ago Trae Young and Luka Doncic were drafted for the NBA. they both play the point guard position and are great three-point shooters. Luka Doncic was the third overall pick and Trae Young was the fifth overall pick. This year they are two really good players and they are fun to watch. Hello and welcome back, today we will be talking about the Lakers, Warriors, and Pelicans and what has happened to the teams throughout this 2019-2020 NBA season. 

First, we will be talking about the Lakers. The Lakers are the best team in the Western Conference with 30 wins and 7 losses. Although the Lakers are the best in there Conference with Lebron James, and Anthony Davis they are not the best overall because the Milwaukee Bucks have 33 wins and 6 losses with there mane player being Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The second, team that we will be talking about is the Warriors. The Warriors are not doing that good this season, because they lost Kevin Durant to the Brooklyn Nets and they also don’t have Stephen Curry, or Klay Thompson do to injures. This has been a tough season for the Warriors, with them have a standing of 9 – 20. I hope that they can finish off the rest of the season with a few more wins.

The finale team that we will be talking about is the New Orleans Pelicans. The Pelicans aren’t doing as good as I thought they would but they are doing good for a young team. Some players on the Pelicans are Lonzo Ball, Branden Ingram, Jrue Holiday, JJ Redick, and Zion Williamson. On Zion Williamsons rookie year he had a knee surgery which stopped him from playing his rookie. If the Pelicans had him during the season they would most likely of won a few games. Right now the Pelicans have a standing of 13 – 25. Once Zion comes back they will most likely start doing a lot better and win a couple of games with him.

This post will be about the top three teams that I think will do the best in this season. The teams are the Lakers, Warriors, and the Pelicans. I think that the Lakers will be one of the best teams this season because they have three great all stars on the team and one of them is the King of basketball.

The reason I think that the Warriors will be one of the best is because they have Curry and Klay which they can both shoot and drive. They also have some pretty good power and small forwards.

Now for the last team, I think that the Pelicans will be one of the best teams because they are a young team. They also have three really aggressive players like Zion Williamson, Lonzo Ball, and Brandon Ingram. Which I think will be a really strong trio plus there other teammates.

In my opinion, the Pelicans are my favorite team because I think that they will be elite in every category. Stay tuned to see how each team does through this NBA season. I hope that you enjoyed this blog post and that you will come back to read my blog again. Bye for now.
